I Walk to Save Lives. Just 4 days left to help!
Sunday is the Heart Walk in Syracuse and I am so happy I decided to walk this year, for the first time ever.
I have been touched by heart disease in so many ways...my dad has a pacemaker, a co-worker dropped at work, I have had 2 friends hearts stopped and both were saved, one by her husband, and one by a stranger in the gym. At least 2 other friends have had major cardiac events and surgeries. And how can I not mention my husbands work and his own cardiac issues? I am sure there are more and I'll stop here.
I am lucky, as 9 our of 10 people who experience a heart attack outside of a hospital die.
It's time to take action, and save lives.
Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. We can make and difference and increase the survival rate together!
