For many years, I’ve proudly supported America’s Greatest Heart Run & Walk—personally, with my family, and alongside my ICAN colleagues. I’ve taken part in the Walk and the Executive Challenge multiple times because I believe deeply in strengthening our community and supporting causes that matter. This year, I’m stepping up in a new way by participating in the Treadmill Challenge to continue that commitment to heart health here in the Mohawk Valley.
While many people know me for my work with ICAN and our mission to support children and families, this cause is also very personal to me. Heart disease has impacted my family in profound ways. I have a significant family history of heart-related illness, and we have lost loved ones far too soon. Others in my family continue to navigate the daily realities of heart conditions.
That’s why I’m taking on this challenge—to honor those we’ve lost, support those still fighting, and help fund the research, education, and prevention efforts that save lives. I’m grateful for your support as we work together to build healthier hearts and a stronger community for the next generation.
