I’m taking on the 2026 Radiothon and Treadmill Challenge in support of the American Heart Association because heart health matters deeply to me—both personally and professionally.
As a community leader with Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways, I see every day how important it is to model healthy habits for girls, families, and volunteers. We talk a lot about courage, confidence, and character—and taking care of our bodies is a huge part of that. Walking this challenge is one small way I can lead by example and show that making time for movement is possible, even with a busy schedule.
I’m also walking as a mom to a 9-month-old, and that has completely changed how I think about health. I want to raise my child in a home where staying active, caring for our hearts, and prioritizing wellness are just part of everyday life. This challenge is a way to reinforce those habits early—for myself and for my family—while also supporting a cause that helps families everywhere.
Heart disease affects so many people, and the work of the American Heart Association saves lives through education, research, and advocacy. Every step I take on this treadmill is for stronger communities, healthier families, and a future where our kids grow up knowing that their health matters.
Thank you for supporting me and for supporting heart health!
