Walking for Kim

Our team walks in honor of Kim, a bright, strong, and loving soul who left us far too soon.

At just 23 years old, after giving birth to her beautiful twins, Kim was diagnosed with heart failure - something no one expects at such a young age. She faced the unthinkable with incredible courage, living with the support of an LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) for 12 years. Through every challenge, Kim showed resilience, grace, and a love for life that inspired everyone around her.

On her 35th birthday, we said goodbye to Kim. While our hearts broke that day, her spirit continues to shine through the memories we carry, the lives she touched, and the love she gave so freely.

We walk not only to honor Kim's memory but also to raise awareness, support research, and bring hope to others facing heart disease. Every step we take is a reminder of her strength, her laughter, and the way she made life brighter for all who knew her.

Kim's story is one of courage, love, and resilience. By walking together, we keep her memory alive - and we carry her with us, always.
