Heart disease can be a silent killer. 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don’t survive. Most of the time, it’s because no one nearby performed CPR. But together, we can change that.
Many of us know someone living with a heart condition or taking steps to stay heart healthy. That’s why the IAEE D.C. Chapter is supporting the American Heart Association (Greater Washington Region) this year.
There will be many ways to participate this year, from attending socials designed to raise money and awareness, getting CPR trained and joining the IAEE DC Chapter Heart Walk team in remembrance of long-time chapter member Terence Donnelly CMP, CEM who suffered cardiac arrest at Expo! Expo! in 2018 and passed away several months later.
Heart health matters in every industry - ours included. Let's keep healthy together!
