August 29, 2026 - a day that changed our lives forever!
That day, my husband suffered a major heart attack caused by a 100% blockage in his LAD - the artery commonly known as the "widow maker".
There are moments in life when everything changes in an instant. One minute, we were living our lives, and the next, we were facing something I never imagined we would have to go through.
The fear is overwhelming. The uncertainity is terrifying. But through every second of it, we hold onto our faith.
By the grace of God, the incredible quick response of those who cared for him, and the amazing medical team who worked to save his life, he is here today.
I know how easily this story could have had a different ending. I know how precious every single day is now. We have been given another change to make memories, to love a little harder, to appreciate the ordinary moments, and to never take another day together for granted.
August 29 will forever be a day I remember with both fear and immense gratitude - the day we came terrifyingly close to losing him, but the day God gave us more time.
He is still here. We are still together. And for that, I will forever be grateful.
