My father spent his final years in Congestive Heart Failure, so I know firsthand how much heart disease can affect your quality of life. As his primary caregiver, I watched him struggle with shortness of breath. Chronic edema dramatically reduced his ability to move around, and it caused numerous infections. Several of those infections progressed to sepsis, and it was sepsis which ultimately killed him.
I hope that my small contribution can go towards preventing parents and their children from experiencing this themselves.
