My angel. My husband. My best friend. On May 8, 2021, thirty-four years ended in an instant.  He died suddenly from a heart attach while sleeping beside me. I was asleep too, never imagining that when I woke up, my life would be forever changed. The paramedics arrived quickly and fought tirelessly to save him, but despite their heroic efforts, he was gone. That day changed me forever. In his memory, I made a promise: I will do everything I can to encourage others to learn CPR. Most people don't realize that 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardia arrest outside of a hospital do not survive. My husband was one of them.
