I walk in celebration of my father. 1 year ago he was diagnosed with a serious cardiovascular condition for which he underwent major surgery. His recovery was long and challenging, but I am forever in awe of his strength and determination.

I am also thankful for the incredible doctors, nurses, physical therapists, and support staff he had beside him throughout the entire process.

Heart health and medical research for heart disease, conditions and treatment are a cause close to my heart (pun intended) on a personal and professional level as a daughter and a nurse.
