In a heartbeat, you could be the difference.
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don’t survive. Most of the time, it’s because no one nearby performed CPR. But together, we can change that.
Extraordinary things happen when people take action. A small step. A simple skill. A lifesaving moment.
I’m thrilled to be fundraising for the American Heart Association. This year, I walk to save lives. I walk in honor of my dad and grandfather, who have both faced heart problems and rely on pacemakers and defibrillators. Heart disease and heart attacks have also affected other members of my family, making this cause incredibly personal to me. I’m walking to honor their journeys, raise awareness, and help support a future where fewer families have to experience the impact of heart disease.
