I walk because I know that with every step, I'm making a difference in someone's life. I walk for the two people in the photo above. And when combined with a million other Heart Walk Heroes across the nation, we have an even greater impact toward curing heart disease and stroke. I have a personal stake as well with both parents suffering from heart disease and my father having a stroke in 2011. I continue to participate in the Heart Walk year after year with my team at Moravian because there is still so much more we need to do to battle these ailments.
