In a heartbeat, you could be the difference.

Hello Family and Friends it’s time to get your walking shoes out for the annual Heart walk. The walk will be Saturday, October 10, 2026. I am asking for your support. 

I am sending out a preplanning notification so you can add to your calendar in advance if you are able to attend.

Some may know my story and others may not. At the age of 35, I had a medical episode that cause me to have an urgent primary care visit with my family doctor. During that visit I was set up with a cardiologist right away. After several appointments and test I was told I had to have open heart surgery. Not sure of the outcome of the news, though I have faith in God I had to plan accordingly just in case the outcome wasn't in my favor, so I began getting all of my affairs in order in the event I did not return to my family I could leave my mother who would have had to care to two small children in the best possible position.

However, God had additional plans and assignments for me to complete. Most importantly He gave another opportunity to get my life right as I still strive to do daily. 

I was diagnosed with Sinusitis Aortic Aneurysm which I have had since birth, my discover of this was a total fluke and I only found out because I listen to my body speaking to me. 

April 2006, I had open Heart Surgery and by God Devin Plan I am here to tell my own story.
