â¤ï¸ 14 DAYS TO GO, AND I'M ASKING FOR YOUR HELP! â¤ï¸
We are officially two weeks away from the Greater Maryland Heart Walk on October 10, and I'm making a very personal and direct ask for your support.
Over the last few weeks, it has been great to help move the inaugural American Heart Association Torch across Johns Hopkins, with visits to The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, and Johns Hopkins Howard County General Hospital. I was also honored to hand the torch off to CoreLife for its two weeks as torch bearer.
The torch is a powerful symbol and reminder that the fight against heart disease and stroke takes all of us.
As a member of the Greater Maryland Board of the American Heart Association and Executives With Heart, I committed to raising $5,000. With only 14 days remaining, I need your help to get there.
This cause is deeply personal. I watched my father live with heart disease for most of his life, and advances in cardiovascular medicine gave our family precious additional years with him. My grandfather died of a heart attack in his 30s. I know what this fight means to families because it has been part of mine.
So today, I'm asking more directly:
â¤ï¸ Please don't just like this post. Please consider making a donation.
Whether it's $10, $25, $50, $100, or whatever amount is meaningful to you, every gift matters and supports the American Heart Association's lifesaving work in heart and stroke research, prevention, education, and care.
I have 14 days to reach $5,000, and I need your help.
If you've been thinking about donating, please make today the day. Click the link, make a gift, and help me reach this goal. Together, our individual contributions can add up to something incredibly meaningful for families impacted by heart disease and stroke.
â¤ï¸ 14 days. $5,000. Let's get there together.
Thank you for supporting a mission that means so much to me and my family.
