Hello friends and family.
Heart disease has touched almost every corner of my life. It is the reason I walk for generations of my family. It is why I honor the memory of my grandfather Papa Lou, and my father, whose life was beautifully extended into his late 90s by modern cardiac care. It is also why I walk in celebration of survivors: my mother, my son-in-law Jonathan, my colleague Drew, and my best friend of over half a century, Henry.
The American Heart Association funds the research that keeps our loved ones with us. This is my only charity drive of the year, and I am asking for your help to raise over $5,000.
