Thanks to research and funding from the American Heart Association, Sam was diagnosed early with a congenital heart defect. Sam will have open-heart surgery this April 2026. Please help our family make meaning out of this diagnosis by helping the next generation by raising dollars and awareness. 

Our goal is to raise $10K by National Heart Walk Day, this April 1st. Our vision is that Sam will cross the Heart Walk finish line in his survivor cape and get to hit the big drum to signify the strength of his own heartbeat and the heartbeat of our family near and far.
