We’re walking for Adam and for everyone affected by heart disease and stroke.

Heart disease is the #1 killer worldwide, and stroke ranks #2 globally. Sudden Cardiac Arrest is the leading cause of death in student athletes and contributes to the second leading medical cause of death among youth under 25.

Adam was only 20 years old when he passed away from Sudden Cardiac Arrest caused by an undiagnosed heart condition called arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC). ARVC causes heart muscle to be replaced with fibrous and fatty tissue, which can lead to dangerous heart rhythm disturbances and heart failure.

In Adam’s memory, we’re walking to raise awareness, support heart health, and help prevent tragedies like this from happening to other families.
