Please join me in raising money for heart health education and research. I am participating in honor of my daughter. This past winter she survived a 99% blockage of one of her coranory arteries at 19 years old. The artery was blocked by scar tissue from an artery dissection. With a stent placed, she is unblocked and has a prognosis for a bright future as she continues her studies in pursuit of a career in medicine.

Thankfully, my daughter's condition was diagnosed before she had a major heart attack. 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don’t survive. Most of the time, it’s because no one nearby performed CPR. But together, we can change that.
