In my mid to early 30's my father had a heart attack. I remember driving with my mom to Philly to go see him. I wasn't going to relax until I saw he was okay. Thankfully he was. His heart gave him more trouble over the years before a brain bleed took his life in 2017.
Back track to July of 2010. I used to have a peach tree. I called my mom to let her know I was coming over the next day to bring her fresh peaches. She said she didnt feel good. I told her to rest. At 1:30am my nephew called to say the worse sentence of my life. She's gone. Heart attack. She had been seeing a cardiologist and while she was doing what the doctor told her, her heart was just to sick to keep her alive.
I am doing this for my parents. For my brother and their grand and great grand children.
I want to honor the memory of the two people who gave our family such a great legacy. Their legacy will continue through faith and the support of all friends and family.
