Walking for Danny. For Life.

This year, Team Danny is walking in memory of my Uncle Danny, but calling him my uncle doesn’t really explain what he was to me. He was one of my best friends, someone I could always count on, and a person whose impact on my life will stay with me forever.

Losing Danny on January 16, 2026 changed our family in a way that words really can’t describe. There are some people you don’t simply “move on” from losing. You learn how to carry them with you and that’s exactly what we’re doing.

Team Danny is about keeping his memory alive, celebrating the life he lived, and turning our love for him into something that can help someone else. Every mile we walk and every dollar we raise for the American Heart Association is in his honor.

If you knew Danny, you know how much he meant to the people who loved him. And if you didn’t, I hope Team Danny gives you a little glimpse of just how special he was.
