On the morning of July 7th, 2025, our team coach Scott Treon, just 30 years old, had a heart attack. Heart attacks don't discriminate by age, and that day, we learned it firsthand.

Scott had no family history, no smoking, no harddrug use, and no serious weight issues. Yet doctors found a 95% blockage in his LAD artery, the one known as "the widow maker." Thanks to the quick actions of the medical professionals who cared for him and the modern medical research behind their work, Scott received an emergency stent and has made a full recovery.

We know how lucky we are. Scott is still here, still laughing with us, and still part of this team.

That's why we walk. We walk in gratitude for the doctors, nurses, and researchers who gave Scott a second chance. We walk to raise awareness that heart disease can strike anyone, at any age. And we walk to support the research that turns close calls into happy endings.

Every step we take together is a thank-you, a celebration, and a promise to keep showing up for each other.
