In a heartbeat, you could be the difference.
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don’t survive. Most of the time, it’s because no one nearby performed CPR. But together, we can change that. My dad suffured from Heart Disease and unfortunately passed away in 2006 at the age of 67. The majority of the men on his side of the family lost their battle with this disease between ages of 45 and 49. He had a 6 bypass, 5 strokes, a heart attack, a blood transfusion and his weight went from 185 to 95 lbs. My grandmother and grandfather also both had bypass surgeries with many other health conditions.
Extraordinary things happen when people take action. A small step. A simple skill. A lifesaving moment. Heart Walk brings communities together to create health and hope for every heartbeat. This event means so much to me and every walker who joins, every dollar donated, means more people trained in CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone.
Extraordinary starts with YOU. Help me reach my goal today!
