It's that time of year for my fundraising efforts for the American Heart Association and the Richmond Heartwalk.    This is a important part of my life because of my family.  My Dad died after a long battle with strokes and brother from a sudden event. There have been other people in my life that have survived cardiac issues and those who sadly did not survive,   All of you will have your life touched at some time by a family member or friend or  co-worker with cardiac issues or events. Research to improve survival and to educate about risks and management are vital and ongoing.   So I'm asking each of you to join me in my fundraising efforts by making a tax deductible donation to the American Heart Association.
