Lvad Journey
My Uncle Tony have been on a journey together for the last 4.5 years. He had his LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) implanted in January 2022. He spent 4+ months hospitalized at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have had the honor of being with him every step of the way during his heart failure treatment.
He had a pacemaker installed recently, August 2026. We don't know what's on the horizon ahead, this is a new adventure for us. We're going to tackle it head on!
