I walk for my daughter Samantha Bunting who was truly one of a kind.
Born premature at just 3 pounds, 11 ounces, Samantha faced heart disease from the very beginning. She experienced cardiac arrest early in life, yet she continued to defy the odds with incredible strength and determination.
Despite her struggles, Samantha was always full of life — known for her sass, happiness, infectious laugh, and radiant smile. She brought joy to everyone around her, even while quietly fighting battles that many could never imagine.
For 28 years, Samantha endured courageously. She fought heart disease with grace and strength, never complaining, always pushing forward with resilience and heart.
Her journey ended tragically in September 2025, far too soon. But Samantha’s spirit, her courage, and the love she gave will live on forever.
Now, we walk in her memory.
We ask you to help us continue Samantha’s fight by donating or joining our Heart Walk team. Together, we can honor her life, support lifesaving research, and help other families facing heart disease.
Let’s walk for Samantha.
Let’s remember her strength.
Let’s celebrate her laugh and smile.
And let’s make a difference in her name.
