Heart disease is a cause that is deeply personal to me. After losing a loved one to heart disease, I experienced firsthand how devastating cardiovascular disease can be for individuals and families. That loss inspired me to turn my grief into something meaningful by raising awareness and supporting lifesaving heart research.
As a college student passionate about medicine and public health, I believe in the importance of scientific research, early prevention, and accessible healthcare. I hope to pursue a career in healthcare where I can make a difference in people's lives, not only through patient care but also by advocating for healthier communities.
Through the American Heart Association's New Jersey Heart Walk, I am raising funds to support the fight against cardiovascular disease, including advancements in medical research, education, and prevention. My goal is to honor my loved one's memory while helping create a future where fewer families experience the heartbreak of losing someone to heart disease.
Extraordinary things happen when people come together. Every step we take, every dollar donated, and every effort to spread awareness brings us closer to a healthier future.
Extraordinary starts with YOU. Help me reach my fundraising goal and make every heartbeat count! ❤️
