You can Be a Heartbeat Away 

    Ann's  Angels was named in honor of 3 educated lifesavers , who came forward during my cardiac arrest  and a very proficient EMS crew . Before the AED , 15 minutes of CPR was administered , as well as teaching my husband rescue breaths . With the AED, I would be shocked back to life , As my paramedic would say " All the stars aligned that day !  "
    CPR sustained my life until the AED was available . My team undetstands the importance of recognizing a cardiac arrest, calling 911, maintaining CPR and the availability of AEDs. But  others may not ! 
    Our American Heart Association works  hard to educate our community . This education will save lives. It could  even be someone you love , since 7 out of 10 cardiac arrests happen at home .
