Elizabeth Gutierrez

After a long summer of hospital visits and open heart surgeries, it became more and more evident how strong our father was, physically, mentally, and spiritually. We would always talk about running and I would always remind him how much of a motivation he was for me as I pushed through the miles.
He passed away in October 2018 due to complications post (3rd) heart surgery. He is not physically with us but I know he's watching over us and carrying us through these runs. My brothers and I made this team, Running4JRZ, to honor him and for him to live on through us and our miles.
