I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. I lost my brother, Richard Rasor Jr., on March 30th, 2010, at 48, from a heart related event. He left behind his beloved wife Kathy, 4 beautiful kids, his parents and siblings, an extended family that adored him, and 48 years worth of wonderful friends. We all miss him every day.
Rich had a heart attack 11 years earlier, but all signs and tests said he was fine. He was active and looked healthy. But he was not. So often heart disease goes undetected. We have to change that. Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
Please support me and my colleagues from Mainebiz, the other Heart Walkers, and the incredible work the American Heart Association does to fight and cure heart disease.
Have a heart and help me reach my goal today. Thanks for your support! Kerry
