We are participating in the 2023 AHA Heart Walk in June this year.
Calee was born with a congenital heart condition that was repaired at 6mo and sees a cardiologist regularly. She is happy, healthy, and thriving beyond any of our expectations. I also have the pleasure to serve the veterans at the VA as a nurse in cardiology daily. Chances are you know/love someone with a heart condition too.
Life is why. We do it for Calee, the people we love and take care of. We are raising awareness first and foremost and any funds raised will be used for critical research to one day create more opportunities for other patients in need to live longer healthier lives. Our group name is Calee's Crew and have decided to attempt to raise $400 ($100 for each year she is old). At the heart walk we will celebrate every advancement, be inspired, celebrate every survivor and hug those walking in honor of someone they loved.
