THANK YOU! Whether you got your steps in around the neighborhood, walking path, or comfort of your treadmill, we appreciate and celebrate you for supporting the Dutchess-Ulster Heart Walk! Though we could not physically celebrate with you, we saw and heard the passion from so many of our friends (locally and nationally) as you crossed the virtual finish line strong! We are all so inspired by the many pictures, videos, healthy snacks, shout -outs and support for the American Heart Association.
We know it took countless hours, time, dedication, passion, runners, walkers, SURVIVORS and volunteers. It takes a city . . . IT TAKES YOU!!! No matter the distance or location, together we have raised $180,000+ (and counting) in support of critical research programs that can lead to our next lifesaving breakthrough impacting generations to come!
To support the Walk from your phone, Text 41444 and type HVHEARTWALK - Thank you for your support!

As a science-based organization which cares deeply about the health of our communities, the American Heart Association has been closely following the guidance from the CDC and state and local health officials on the coronavirus (COVID-19). The safety of our guests at our events around the country has been and will continue to be our top priority.
To our valued walkers – We have made the decision not to host a “traditional” Dutchess-Ulster Heart Walk at the Dutchess Community College on April 18, 2020. The safety and health of our participants is our top concern. While we won’t physically see you with us on April 18, 2020, we want to see and hear your passion virtually!!! #HVHeartWalk
We all need a mental and physical break, so we want to see YOU!!
What's your WHY for supporting the 2020 Heart Walk?
