This year’s Heart Walk will be a weeklong celebration! Starting Monday, November 2, we will be hosting fun and interactive daily activities and experiences for you to celebrate with your family, friends and colleagues during the week of the Heart Walk, culminating with our Heart Walk experience on Friday, November 6th at 1pm.

So, wherever you are on Friday, November 6, we invite you to lace-up your shoes and walk with us! Then share your walking selfies and videos on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook @AHAPhilly with the hashtag #PhillyHeartWalk.

The Heart Walk is about a spirit of community -- sharing stories, honoring lives lost too soon, celebrating lives saved – all working toward a shared goal of raising lifesaving dollars that fund research, move health policies forward, and make our communities healthier. We see this community spirit alive now more than ever, even as many of us are staying home or working hard on the frontlines as essential workers, we are united in our goal to save lives. Those suffering from heart disease and stroke – the leading killers globally – may be at highest risk during this time. We persevere for them.

Our community needs us now more than ever, and your support of our mission has never been more important. Your fundraising efforts in support of the AHA’s mission of fighting heart disease and stroke will help ensure that we can continue to fund lifesaving research, support front line health care workers during COVID-19, provide healthy meals to families in need, and fund initiatives that address social inequities and barriers to health care that exist for African Americans and other people of color. You can learn more about our efforts and find additional COVID-19 news and resources here.
