This year, I'm participating in the American Heart Walk with a mission that is deeply personal. I, I lost my beloved husband Bob to sudden cardiac arrest. Just this July, my father Ed passed away from a heart attack. Their presence is missed every single day.
Two extraordinary men. Two devastating losses. One shared cause.
I walk to honor their lives, their legacies, and the moments we didn't get to share. I walk so that others might have more time, more tomorrows, more heartbeats with the ones they love. The American Heart Association funds life-saving research, education, and support for families facing heart disease. Every donation helps turn grief into action - hope into healing.
