I walk in memory of my mom who lost a year and a half long battle after a stroke that permenantly changed her life.

 

I walk to help raise funds for medical research for heart disease and stroke. I am a survivor of both heart disease, which required open heart surgery, and stroke, which required emergency thrombectomy surgery. Without these medical advances, I would not be able to lead the "normal" life I am able to live today.
