I walk because I believe that every step I take helps save lives.
This year, I am walking in honor of my dear friend, Cara Florie. The picture commemorates the one-year anniversary of her life-saving open-heart surgery. Unfortunately, Cara inherited some bad genes, and heart disease has been rampant in her family. The work supported by the American Heart Association (AHA) gives her peace of mind that her daughters may not have to endure this awful disease.
We are all connected to heart disease and stroke in some way, and it's time to make a change. Will you join me in this effort?
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that keeps hearts beating and helps people live longer, healthier lives.
As we celebrate the Centennial of the American Heart Association this year, we are making significant strides in health and well-being. Our relentless pursuit will continue until heart disease and stroke are eradicated.
Please have a heart and help me reach my goal today.
