My original "Team Midge" was started many years ago in memory of my Mom (passed 2006) and several years ago had a name change to "TEAM ZIMMER" to better represent my Mom's family as all 6 siblings had heart disease.
This team was started by my twin sister Donna who also had heart disease and heart failure. Our family members continue this team & walk in Donna's memory (passed 2021) as well as the Zimmer siblings.
I walk because I know that with every step, I’m making a difference in someone’s life. And when combined with a million other Heart Walk Heroes across the nation, we have an even greater impact toward curing heart disease and stroke. Will you be a Heart Walk Hero with me?
