Well, Spring has sprung, the days are getting longer and the temperatures are rising. I'm still with the Boilermaker, Jan is retired, but taking care of her great-nephew a couple of days a week and selling antiques at a local antique barn in Vernon. All things considered, (except for a bout with COVID over the holidays), things are going well. I'm walking three miles almost every day and Jan and I are enjoying good health. As they say, "When you have your health, you have everything."
I celebrated my 70th birthday last year, which really isn't that old, but every time I think of that, I realize that I have out lived my father by three years. Heart Disease took him from us too soon. That is why I'm still participating in America's Greatest Heart Run & Walk, raising money to help in the fight against heart disease. I'm forming "Team Stasaitis" again to remember and honor the entire Stasaitis Family. In saying that, I hope you will consider supporting me in my efforts again this year to raise $7,500 so we can continue our life saving work.
Thank you for the great support that you have given me over the years. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Jim
