Life is Why! Join me in supporting the American Heart Association.
I am writing this from a hospital bed.
I didn't feel right the other day. My ears felt kind of funny and the top of my chest was a little tight. All of this was sudden. As soon as it started, I knew something wasn't right. You see, almost 11 years ago, I had the same symptoms. I had a heart attack and 4 stents. I'm in pretty decent shape, watch my diet and haven't smoked in over 20 years. I couldn't believe it.
From then on I always preach to be aware of your bodies. Especially women, where the symptoms are different than men.
Fast forward. History repeat's itself. I had another stent and some other kissues.
Again I trusted myself and went to the hospital.
I urge everyone to not ignore your pain.
It's better to waste a visit to the hospital, before it's too late.
This fundraising effort is very important If something isn't right please don't wait to seek medical help.
I know I can count on my family and friends in achieving my goal.
From my heart,
Meryl
