Thankfully in 2017, I didn't become a statistic! I survived my heart attack, two procedures for stents and finally open-heart surgery for a triple bypass. I am living each day to the fullest! After my recovery, I registered for the Heart Walk to celebrate my survivorship and to raise money for the American Heart Association.
