On August 17, 2018, I unexpectedly lost my husband -- my high school sweetheart, best friend and love of my life to a cardiac event.
As anyone who knew him would tell you, Michael was a kind, caring, FUN, and loving husband, father, son, sibling, uncle and friend.
He was full of life and made everyone around him feel welcome and loved with his warm smile and big hugs.
He is known for his motto "Don't let what you have to do tomorrow affect what you are doing tonight." In other words, enjoy each day to its fullest!
I became active with the American Heart association in memory of Michael and found a new sense of purpose. I’ve turned my grief into something good by helping others. I’m proud to say I’ve raised over $82,000 in the past 7 years for the American Heart Association! His memory fuels my passion for this important cause!
Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone.
I Walk to Save Lives. Please help me reach my goal!
