Each year, the American Heart Association raises funds for its various programs through the Wall Street Run and Heart Walk which has its finish line right here at Brookfield Place in New York.
The American Heart Association is confronting COVID-19 by funding new research to investigate the cardiovascular implications of coronavirus, training health care workers on the front lines, and advocating to provide families greater access to care.
Once again, we at Brookfield are uniting around the spirit of Aaron Belkin, a former colleague of ours at Brookfield who passed away at the age of 28 from an undetected congenital heart defect. And so in his honor, Brookfield has partnered with the AHA’s Executives with Heart to help raise funds that will address the one in ten people who don't get enough food or nutrition they need.
I am honored to be working with the AHA again to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.
What will your donation do?
I'm glad you asked. Every donation will help create big science, like science that created the artificial heart valve. The moment you contribute to the Heart Walk, you are contributing to, witnessing, and progressing lifesaving science. Lives can't be saved without you. Will you donate today?
Thank you in advance for your generous support.
