Help me be a Heart Walk Hero!
\u200bIn 2019, my husband Mike had a successful open heart surgery to repair a damaged heart valve and my good friend and co-worker, Cathi suffered a stroke and is currently in the process of rehabilitating. We are so fortunate in both case, to have received the help and benefit of research funded by the American Heart Association.
Because my life has been touched in such a positive way by the work of the American Heart Association, I have chosen to volunteer my time for the organization of the 2024 Eastern CT Heart Walk and I will also be coaching a team of UConn Avery Point faculty, staff, students and family members for this year!
