Once we were told he may not survive. We watched him code multiple times. We were told he may not walk or talk.. and now our little fighter is 14 years old! It will be 14 years on 9/6/2025 since Ryder had his life-saving open heart surgery. Walk beside us this year to acknowledge Ryder's bravery and strength! We wouldn't have this moment without all the people, and research, that saved his life and all of our hearts.
My participation in Heart Walk honors my heart warrior son, Ryder, who underwent Open Heart Surgery at 3 months of age. He was born with Tetraology of Fallot and will need lifelong heart care including a pulmonary valve replacement yet to come. We are committed to raising funds every year for him, our heart family tribe and all the warriors gone too soon.
We again also walk in Honor of our dear friend, Chris who we lost in May of 2020. He was always a Ryder's Warrior. Ryder's "Uncle Chris", he gave a piece of his heart and we will always have a place for him in ours...forever. We miss you Chris and we walk for you.
