As you may know, Digital Realty has been a proud sponsor and participant in the AHA’s Greater Washington Region Heart Walk for the past five years. Heart disease is responsible for 1 out of every 3 deaths, making it the nation’s number one killer, while stroke is the nation’s number four killer. These diseases affect everyone -- men, women and children. Digital Realty and its associates have been partnering with the AHA to stop these tragic statistics by raising critical funding needed for research, education and community programs that lead to healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
This year we are excited to expand our participation by again hosting a golf tournament on Tuesday, October 18th at the 1757 Golf Club with exciting new things added to this year’s event including a new Hole-In-One contest and more prizes in general. 100% of all charitable donations will go to the AHA with Digital Realty underwriting the cost of the tournament: see details below.
