Hi everyone!
Thanks for visiting my American Heart Assocation page and supporting this great organization. I'm excited to be part of Bergmann's sponsorship of the AHA and on-going committment to make positive change happen here in our community. I've participated in AHA fundraising events, including the walk and run, in the past. This year is especially meaningful to me for a couple of reasons.
First, in December 2019 my grandfather passed away from undiagnosed heart issues that led to heart failure. While he lived an incredible life of 91 years, I hope that my efforts with the AHA can help educate and inform others to know the signs of heart disease and stroke before it's too late.
Also, the AHA is so much more than just a heart health organization. Their efforts support the whole person and are making an effort to impart healthy lifestyle choices, from activity to mental health to nutrition. These are all incredibly important, especially now as we all live through the COVID-19 pandemic. I encourage you to donate any way you can, whether it's via your time in getting involved with AHA activities, like the heart run and walk (Rochester's is on June 5, 2021) or by donating funds that will go directly to helping people in our community.
Thank you!
