First I want to thank all of you that have donated. I've been challenged to tell my story as to who I walk for. So here it goes. Firstly I walk for myself. I was born with SVT more specifically AVNRT. It's believed to be hereditary. My grandma happy also had this. I had a heart ablation done when I was 8 years old. Talk about scary. She also had a heart ablation, when she had it done it was very experimental. She must have been scared too. Although we can't prove it we suspect my great grandfather also had this. I didn't get the chance to meet him he died before I was born. I'm named after him. So I also walk for the grandfather I didn't get the chance to meet. He died from heart disease. I also walk for my entire family, close family and extended family member I've yet to meet, and get to know one day I hope I can. I walk for all of us. For us that have been diagnosed and those who struggle with this and have yet to be diagnosed. I walk for kids with heart disease who are scared every day but like me continue to be strong and push through each day determined not to let this affect their lives. Although at times its hard to do so. I walk for them and I will continue to do so. I walk for my grandpa Reeve who has heart disease. I want for my Sensei who we lost a few years ago... I walk for you Sensei Scott Wilcox I miss you everyday. These are just some that I walk for. That's part of my story and I'd like to add you to it as a heart hero who may not walk beside me but walk with me in helping others and helping in the fight against heart disease. Will you be my heat hero?
