Why I Walk. Why I ask for your support.
This year I am walking for two people.
Terry McMullen (left in the photo) was a dear friend, who had an extra ten years of living due to the life-saving advances of the AHA, from stents to statins to how heart disease impacts those with diminished immune systems. I walk in memory of those ten years I had with Terry that I would not had without the advances in research.
Alberto Fry (right in photo) is my husband of 20 years. I walk for him and for me. I want for both of us to be around for the memories of 25th...30th anniversaries and more.
The work of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association makes these years of memories possible. Let's keep that work going by your making a donation to the AHA/ASA in the name of whomever you hold dear.
Thank you in advance for your support!
