The Wall Street Run & Heart Walk is testament to New York’s resiliency, and while we’ve made great progress, physical and mental health will be central to our continued social and economic recovery. Specifically, we need to continue focusing on cardiovascular health which remains a leading cause of death and disability for many Americans. Over the past three years the American Heart Association and its many supporters across the five boroughs, have raised the awareness and funds to take on these very serious threats, and we have much more to do as we prioritize the health and wellness of all New Yorkers.
