I'm excited to be back as S&P Global Platts team co -captain for the American Heart Association NYC Run & Heart Walk this year! Last year the SPGI - CI team raised 15K.
I walk for my 13 year old son, a heart warrior who was born with tetralogy of fallot. He had his first heart repair surgery at 3 months old. A second surgery is in Jacob's future to replace his valve but we don't know when this will be. My hope is for less invasive surgery options when the time comes.
Last year Jacob started experiencing premature ventricular contractions (PVCs). He's now on a beta blocker 1x a day, which has stopped the premature contractions. He continues playing ice hockey and living a very normal life!!!
