My father died in 2008 of a heart attack at only 53 years old after multiple struggles with his broken heart valve and problems being able to have a successful surgery. Even with a pacemaker, at some point, the pain of it simply got to be too much to live with and he chose to have the pacemaker removed. It was devasting to lose him so young. I do this walk for him each year and have been doing it since he passed away.
I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. We have to change that. Will you help me?
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
Have a heart, spread the love, and help me reach my goal today in honor of my father, Robert Siegman who did not have the joy of living into his 'golden' years, so someone in the future will get that privilege.
