I'm walking in honor of our granddaughter, Addison Alivia Hadlock. She was born with a condition called Pulmonary Valve Atresia with Ventricular Septal Defect which basically means her pulmonary valve wasn't developed and she has a hole in her heart. She had surgery in February of 2012 when she was 8 months old and had an artificial valve installed. She had open heart surgery again February 21, 2022 to replace her valve and they were able to put a bigger one in that will last another ten or so years.
